Hi love π This is a tiny app I built just for you, so feeding our little Daivik feels less like spreadsheets and more like a sweet daily ritual. Everything the dietician sends β every veggie, every dal, every "any fruit of mom's choice" β lives here in one place.
You don't need to remember anything. You don't need internet. Just open the app, tap a few things, and the rest takes care of itself. This little guide will walk you through it gently. Take your time. π±
So you can tap it from your home screen anytime β no typing URLs, no opening browsers.
The first screen β Today β shows exactly what Daivik should eat today. You'll see Morning, Afternoon, and Evening meals already laid out.
Read the food name. If there's a recipe, tap π View recipe steps for a step-by-step card view (easier than reading a paragraph).
Tap the meal card. A circle appears β tap it to mark fed. The card turns soft green. πΏ
Want to add more? Tap the meal name itself to expand and you'll get:
"5 tsp", "half katori" β whatever feels right to you.
Tap the dashed box, snap a quick pic. Cute for memories and useful for the dietician.
Loved it / Okay / Fussy / Refused. One tap.
Tap if you notice rash, gas, runny nose etc. The app remembers.
Anything you want to remember. "He grabbed the spoon today!" π
Tap π Voice note and speak β your words become notes. One-handed friendly.
Really. Just close the app. Everything saves automatically. No "save" button to remember, no losing data. β¨
What to feed Daivik right now. Auto-knows the date and shows the matching day's meals. Has your streak count, food count, and a π€ Share shortcut.
All 7 weeks of the diet plan. Swipe left/right with the arrows or tap the week name to jump. Each day is a card β tap to open. Today's day is highlighted in red so you don't lose track.
Every vegetable, dal, and fruit organized by section. Tap to mark tried. Long-press (hold for a second) to flag a food that's causing reactions β it'll show β everywhere.
Beautiful charts: how many meals you logged each week, food variety, Daivik's mood pattern, growth over time, and a list of any reactions noted. Lovely to look back at.
Daivik's photo, age, growth log (add new weight/length here), reminders setup, RDA targets, milestones, and data export/import.
Tap the magnifying glass at the top. Type "beetroot" or "khichdi" and it finds the meal, the day, the food list entry. Tap a result to jump there.
If you log a reaction on the same food twice, the app auto-flags it. It'll show a β banner on the Today screen and red border around that meal across all weeks. So you don't have to remember.
When the plan says something vague like "any vitamin A rich vege", the Today screen suggests safe options Daivik has already tried (and skips flagged ones). No guessing.
Go to Profile β Reminders β Enable. You'll get gentle nudges at 8 AM, 1:30 PM, and 6 PM. Tap the notification to jump straight to logging.
Tap π€ Share on the Today screen (or the share quick-card). The app builds a clean summary of the last 7 days β meals, moods, reactions, growth β and you can copy it, send via WhatsApp, or email. One tap.
Tap the big + button (bottom right) β π Export feedback (Excel). Pick which weeks β download a proper Excel file with your notes neatly tabled. Perfect for the dietician.
When the dietician sends the next week's Excel file:
Tap + β π₯ Import week (Excel) β pick the file. The app reads it automatically and adds all the days. β¨
If you only have notes (not Excel), tap βοΈ Add blank week instead and fill in manually.
Tap the moon icon at the top right. Softer on the eyes when feeding at 2 AM. π
Profile β + Add next to "Growth log" β enter measurements. The chart in Insights builds itself over time. Watching him grow is going to be your favorite chart. π
Before your dietician check-in, tap π€ Share or export the Excel. Saves you typing during the call.
Once a week, go to Profile β Export data. Save the file in your Google Drive or send it to yourself on WhatsApp. If you ever change phones, you can Import it back.
No. Everything is saved instantly as you tap. You can close the app, restart your phone, switch off β it all stays.
No π Works completely offline once it's loaded once. Internet only needed if you want to share via WhatsApp/email.
Tap it again to undo. Marked fed by mistake? Tap the green circle to unmark. Wrong mood? Tap it again. Nothing is permanent.
They can install it on their phone, but right now each phone has its own data. If you want shared data across phones, ask papa β he knows the plan. π
Totally fine β just don't mark it fed, or mark "Refused" mood. The plan is a guide, not a rule. Babies have off days, and your dietician knows that.
No guilt. None. Just pick up from today. The streak will reset and that's okay. The app is here to help, not stress you out.
Voice notes work best in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone). Make sure you allowed microphone access. If still not working, just type β totally fine.
Not in the app right now β they're set to 8 AM, 1:30 PM, 6 PM. Tell papa if you want different times and he can change them. π
Foods tab β find the item β tap. Done. Or open the meal he ate it in and add it to notes.
It means that food might be causing reactions (rash, gas, etc.). The app auto-flags if you log reactions on the same food twice. You can also long-press a food in the Foods tab to flag manually. Flagged foods show β and a red border so you remember to avoid them or check with the dietician.
"You're doing a beautiful job, mama.
Daivik is so lucky to have you."
β with all my love
